ORGANIZER AND COMMITTES
Local Organizer:
The National Institute of Research and Development for Potato and Sugar Beet (NIRDPSB) has a long tradition (57 years) in research and development of two major crops in the Romanian agriculture. It is a top-level institution depending on the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences (AAFS) and the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development (MARD). It coordinates the national research and development programs in the field of potatoes, sugar beet and medicinal plant, production, storage and marketing and participates in several R&D national and international projects.
