HOW TO GET TO VENUE
You can access to Brasov City by:
AIR: Land at Bucharest International Airport ( Bucharest Henri Coanda - OTP or Bucharest Baneasa - BBU) and road/train transfer to Brasov.
To check your air connection to Bucharest visit online air schedule. There are no domestic flights from Bucharest to Brasov.
Travel from “Henri Coanda” or “Baneasa”
Airports to railway station (“Gara de Nord”) in Bucharest
can be done by taxi (cost about 20-50 euro) or by buses (cost about 10
euro).From Bucharest you will take the train/buses to Brasov railway
station (cost about 20 euro).From Brasov railway station you will take
taxi to Hotels ( cost about 5 euro).
Note: For a cheaper, safety and more conformable transfer from Bucharest “Henri Coanda” International Airport to Brasov,
the Organizing Committee intend to arrange a special bus line (cost about
40 euro/one way – to be paid in bus) on Sunday, July 6th, between
10am and 6pm, and for return flights on Friday, July 11th between
4am and 11am. Please let us know your intention (suggestion) by sending
an e-mail at eapr2008@potato.ro before June 6th
ROAD:
From the western (Romanian-Hungarian) border:
- Entry point in Romania at Nadlac. Stay the European 68 road – East (E68) to Brasov (transit points: Deva, Sibiu)
- Entry point in Romania at Bors. Follow E60 to Cluj, Targu-Mures, Brasov
From the eastern (Romanian –Moldavian) border:
- Entry point in
Romania at Albita. Follow E581 till Marasesti, Adjud, Adjud
– Onesti 11A, Onesti - Targu-Secuiesc – Brasov E577
- Entry point Albita – Crasna – Vaslui. Vaslui – Bacau 2F, Bacau – Brasov E577
From the southern (Romanian-Bulgarian) border:
- Entry point in Romania at Ruse – Giurgiu. Follow E70 Giurgiu – Bucharest, Bucharest – Brasov E60
From the south-western (Romanian-Serbian) border:
- Entry point
Moravita or Jimbolia to Timisoara. Timisoara – Lugoj E70, Lugoj
– Deva 68A, Deva – Brasov E68
TRAIN:
Train connections are
available from almost all the major Romanian cities to Brasov. All
trains coming from west going to Bucharest are crossing Brasov.
Coming from east or south border in Bucharest North railway station you
will check the train connection from Bucharest to Brasov.
